Kulturquartier - Projection Mapping

At the Kulturquartier in Erfurt, DEREAL Studio conceptualized, designed and implemented a two part, two-hour long audiovisual show as part of a commission for KulturQuartierFestival 2023.

For the first part, DEREAL Studio integrated real-time motion capture into the projection mapping. Attendees became active participants rather than mere spectators, directly influencing the visual landscape that enveloped the Kulturquartier.

For the second part of the performance DEREAL Studio developed an AV show where spectators witnessed unfolding shapes, natural elements, particle simulation themes among others.
